Opened in 1930 and designed by C.H. Muelenford and Sam Sneed, Big Run turns 84 this year. Hundreds of tall oak trees throughout the course (some oaks are centuries old), complimented by five lakes and Long Run Creek, will test your shot-making abilities. 8 of 18 holes bring water into play. The course is heavily bunkered.
Big Run Golf Club can be difficult but enjoyable, challenging, and sporty. The course has never stood on its laurels, it has been reshaped over the years to compliment both the improvements in today’s golfers and to take advantage of this scenic piece of land golfers have come to enjoy.
